The Bernard fourplex presents an effective design that adapts to Kelowna’s varied topography and presents a livable alternative to single-family housing.
The project features four three-bedroom units with entrances from front and side streets. Private space goes uncompromised with a partially sunken patio and rooftop patio in each unit, and double-wide garages that can be accessed through a rear lane.
The compact urban form maximizes the use of existing infrastructure and contributes to energy efficient settlement patterns while offering attainable ground-oriented family housing alternatives.
